adam

when my mom came last weekend to visit, i asked her to bring a photo of me as a baby so we could see if adam looks like i looked. and... we got our answer! hehe.

our lil' buddy has finally warmed more to being on his own while alert and awake. i think the fact that he can actually SEE further makes him calmer. he likes to sit in his bouncy chair and look at his animals. every morning, we have a breakfast bottle, we sit lay on mommy's lap (my legs propped on the ottoman) while he looks at the stairs, the light out the front door, etc. we play patta-cake and smile and practice saying ahhh-gooo. then we play climb the mountain, as he attempts (and sometimes succeeds!) at climbing up my belly and chest to see over my shoulder. and then! he hangs in his seat while mommy has much needed coffee!

all that, then another bottle, then a short little nap... just long enough for me to sterilize a couple bottles, brush my teeth, shower IF i am lucky.

and on saturday, mr. adam got to wear his little overalls for the first time! growing so big and fast-- already so many clothes he can't wear anymore and new ones he is fitting into each day. time is FLYING.
