pretty bedroom

eric and i painted our bedroom! i picked the color and bought it while he was at work. lucky for me, he leaves most of the decor to his wife. he tells me that the color is growing on him... but me? i LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE it. like, LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE it so so so much. everytime i look in our room or walk past it or into it, i smile. i'd bet i even smile in my sleep.

i picked the color from a vase i bought at a yard sale last summer. you can see the vase sitting on my dresser in this photo.

btw- our furniture used to be brown. i've had it since i graduated college! but, this summer i painted it (with my mom's help) to glossy black. i also painted the drawer pulls silver.
