30 reason why i love eric

1- when i said - let's get married in hawaii?- he said - i'd marry you in a ditch.
2- because even though i pretend it is annoying, he replays songs he loves over and over (and over and over).
3- the first time we went on a date, he said- you just seem so..... happy.
4- when we first started dating, he said- i'm crazy about you.
5- he gave me adam.
6- when i am with him, i feel safe.
7- i will always be striving to make him the best meal ever! he's a total food snob.
8- we have high hoof. and only we will know what it means forever.
9- on our wedding day, we layed on the beach in the morning and ate cheeseburgers for lunch.
10- he secretly loves billy joel and will blast the songs and sing every word, even though he doesn't like to admit it.
11- he is a hard worker and a perfectionist. when he sets his mind to doing something, if he cares about it, it must be perfect.
12- yet, he is likely one of the most laid back people i have ever met.
13- he will cross a street and run a block to roll on the sidewalk with a dog he likes.
14- he is definitely the friendliest person i know.
15- he has a very quick wit and often has the funniest one-liners in a split second.
16- he is very handsome.
17- he goes to school full time, works a full time job, has a house that needed work, a new baby, a new wife and manages to do all very well. and rarely, if ever, complains.
18- he can't stand anything on his face. nothing. ever.
19- when he first fed adam with a spoon, he opened his mouth wiiiiiiiiiiiide too, like he was also getting a big bite. it was adorable.
20- when adam was in my belly and before we even knew he was a boy, we immediately decided that if it was a boy, it would be adam. no banter, no discussion. we just knew our son would be adam. often, he and i work like that.
21- when adam was a newborn in the hospital, eric, exasperated and tired sometime in the middle of the night, asked the nurse - can you please show me again how to WADDLE this baby??!?!
22- he always holds my door and lets me order dinner first.
23- he always knows the fish on a menu and can tell me if i'll like it or not.
24- he can't drink wheat beers any more than i can.... with pleasant results. :)
25- he fits right in with my family and friends. he loves them. and i love his family. and all his friends.
26- he asks me if his outfits look stupid.
27- he loves bluegrass.
28- he's always been one of the best listeners i've known.
29- he's the best secret keeper i know, also.
30- because, for me, he is the best man on the planet. and i am the lucky one, every single day that he loves me back.
