grateful for....



- mightygirl, who gave me this idea awhile back for a salad bar in your own fridge. lately, i am obsessed (lately i am obsessed with the word obsessed, apparently...) with this bbq chicken salad from panera, so i have recreated it here in my fridge. lettuce, chicken, bbq sauce and a light ranch, corn, black beans, a sprinkle of cheese and tortilla strips. yum! half the battle of packing your own lunch (my own lunch) is getting all the stuff together and making it before work. now, it's all ready to go. all i have to do is throw a little bit of each thing into a take-away bowl and i'm ready to go.

- this gorgeous, huge orange tree in our backyard. i have to admit that, even tho it's a prelude to a winter that i don't love, autumn here is so pretty.
