"when i became a man, i put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."

yesterday, adam and i went on a LONG walk along the river. when i got our big jogging stroller out of the car, i noticed the tires were flat (ahem, says something about how often mama goes jogging, woops), so instead of heading away from town, as i'd planned, i instead decided to walk toward town and pump up the tires at the first gas station in town. this walk was longer, but turned out to be so much better. we stopped at a bakery and had a too-tee (cookie) and a muffin and then went to the gas station, where the man working there filled up our tires for us, for free. how nice!

then, on the way back, we stopped to play along the river in a grassy picnic area. there were tons of geese, which amazed adam- i'm not sure he'd ever seen them so close. and in the water, there was a mama with baby geese, which we spent awhile watching.

perfect day.
