adam is super into moo-mick these days, so i play moo-mick all the time - i have almost always had music playing (and am surprised and sometimes disappointed at how many baby videos we have with neil young or vampire weekend or some other random music in the background!), but since he's really into moo-mick, i have added pandora's smithsonian kid's folk music to our days. i actually really enjoy it, we frequently hear jerry garcia or johnny cash singing kids songs. who knew? there are two songs, in partiuclar, that are in regular rotation that adam and i both love.

when they come on, we both drop everything, run in front of the speakers and dance to the moo-mick.

here they are. (totally forgot this first one was in juno!)

all i want is you.

and here is the other, little sack of sugar.

you should get up and dance to both of these right now. and if you don't feel better, well, you should get that checked out b/c something might be wrong with you.

in other domestic news, i did a breakfast experiment this morning that was quite possibly the best breakfast thing i ever put in my face. in my quest to have a high-protein breakfast (read: stop scarfing potato chips around 10am), i have been mixing kashi go lean with greek yogurt and a dab of honey with some fruit, usually bananas and blueberries. (MAINE blueberries!) today..... i added a touch of peanut butter too and gave it a really good stir. and i added peaches instead too. i think i may have floated off the floor. enjoy.

and we're still planning to camp in acadia next weekend WITH adam. pointers for camping with a two year old (other than DON'T DO IT!!!!!!), send em my way.

Carissa fed me that for breakfast while we were in Maine and I have to vouch for her, it was great!!
You are a good mommy Carissa.
Love you.

When my sister took her 16-month old camping, they brought a portable dvd player that seemed to help entertain Beau during down times. And of course, his favorite toy... Have fun!
