i lovelovelove the portland farmers' market. today i took 40 in cash and spent 37. i got:

3 giant heads of lettuce.
2 lbs of green beans.
a bunch of fresh cilantro.
3 eggplants.
a jar of local honey.
2 green peppers.
a bunch of fresh basil.
1 red onion.
a pint of blueberries.
4 tomatoes.
4 ears of corn.
5 cucumbers.
5 apples.

oh yes, and 1 giant blueberry muffin!

i usually go to the grocery right after the farm market to round out our needs and pick up whatever i couldn't get at the market. this week, my shopping cart was sparse!
