me: sometimes, i feel like we should have watched lost.

eric: no way. we're like the only two people alive who don't watch that show.

me: i know! don't you feel sorta left out?

eric: f*ck that. no. whatever. we watch so many better shows.

eric and i are definitely tv soul mates. we fell asleep that same night watching a pbs show about the donner party. and the next night, caught up on our dvr'ed i survived. :)

i committed to the 40 day yoga challenge, as you may recall. well, i have done... ok. i have practiced most days (even just a few asanas count in my book. "even a little of this practice..." right?). there have been some days when seriously all i have time or energy for is to turn off the light in my room and breathe. breathe. breathe. conscious, aware, deep, cleansing and decompressing breaths. but, i have definitely practiced more in the past couple weeks consecutively than is typical. and there have been many days that i have turned on a playlist and told myself - you have to practice until the end of the david bowie song... and then i finish an hour and a half later and never even noticed bowie. so... i am happy with how it's going. the breathing and quiet are, quite frankly, the very best parts. and i am loving a more and more dance-like practice that is super-flowy. looking forward to all the SPACE and FREE TIME in costa rica to play a little more.
