today i saw geary's christmas ale for sale.  what the what?!  i initially thought to myself.  but then i went and looked at a calendar.  friends, we only have 53 days till christmas, and even less than that till travel, shopping and all the other fun stuff we cram into this time of year.  53 days!?  yes, 53 days. holy cow.  i have a lot of christmas gifts to make before then!  good thing i already started on a couple...

adam and i spent halloween in sc with my family. we had a blast.  we painted pumpkins, went to a halloween festival, trick or treated, and spent a morning at a childrens' museum and had lunch with pals.

we had a wardrobe change for actual trick or treating.  for the festival, adam was elmo, but elmo was hot and kept falling into adam's face, so i had the fireman get up as a back up.  we trick or treated with my mom's friend's son and his sweet and gorgeous daughter, savannah.  she and adam have played before and they love each other!

all our painted pumpkins (lucas carved his and isn't here).  can you guess which is mine?  how many elmo masterpieces can one mommy have in a single season...?  don't challenge me, people.
